Robert Lee “Bob” Kinkead, age 79, of Aurora, formerly of Marionville, passed away at 11:01 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at his home. He was born on March 6, 1931, in Ash Grove, Missouri, the youngest of ten children, to Fredrick and Ida (Crider) Kinkead. Bob lived in the Lawrence County community since 1965 and worked for IDF as a maintenance man. Those surviving him include: five daughters, Robyn Hovis and Shelly Feeney of Wyoming, Brenda Carr of Springfield, Valene “Tootie” Price and her husband, David, of Aurora and Janette “Sally” White of Marionville; three sons, Scott Kinkead and his wife, Renea, of Fenton, Missouri, Jeff “Buck” Kinkead and his fiancé, Sally, of Marionville and Steven “Shorty” Kinkead of Marionville; 12 grandchildren, Josh, Colby, Dane, Ericka, Daminion, Lyndsay, Chelsey, Tyler, Brett, Grant, Tyler and Andy; and one great-grandson, Jared. His parents, nine brothers and sisters, Floyd, Earl, William, Loyd, Oma, Genieva, Verlee, Dorthy, and Wanda Jean, preceded him in death. A visitation will be at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2010. Graveside services, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Maple Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at this website.
