Obituary for Armando Medina

Armando Medina, age 62, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 8:50 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018, at his home. He was born March 7, 1955, in Calvillo, Mexico, the son of Antonio and Christina (Ibarra) Medina.

Armando was a laborer with the EFCO Corporation, in Monett, Missouri and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Verona, Missouri.

On December 20, 1980, he married Evangelina Valenciano, in Calvillo, Mexico.

Armando is survived by his wife, Evangelina; one son, Armando Medina of Aurora; five daughters, Juana Elizabeth Medina, Mariana Medina, Carolina Medina, Altagracia Medina and Ana Cristina Medina, all of Aurora; five brothers, Rito Medina of Florida, Fransisco Medina, Elias Medina, Antelmo Medina and Sergio Medina, all of California; three sisters, Sara Medina, Josefa Medina and Maria Del Rocio, all of Mexico and eight grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Verona, Missouri. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018, at the Maple Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, in the funeral home chapel.
