Obituary for Virginia Sarah Boykin

Virginia Sarah Boykin, age 69, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 6:36 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at her home. She was born February 16, 1949, in Branson, Missouri, the daughter of Cledis and Alice (Pride) Shepard.

Virginia was a 1967 graduate of the Missouri School for the Blind, in St. Louis, Missouri and was a homemaker.

On March 31, 1968, she married Lemial Roy Boykin, in Marionville, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 6, 2003.

Virginia is survived by her son, Kelly Boykin and his wife, Holly, of Bethany, Connecticut; six grandchildren, Trenton Boykin and his wife, Toni, Dalton Boykin and his fiancé, Taylor, Michaela Boykin and her fiancée, Robbie, Dakota Boykin and her fiancée, Israel, Tyler Boykin and his wife, Carli and Chelsey Perry and her husband, Jacob; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters; three brothers and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, Cledis and Alice, husband, Lemial, daughter, Terri Boykin and three brothers preceded her in death.

A graveside service, under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
