Obituary for Charles Madison DeLaSalle III

Charles Madison DeLaSalle, III, age 55, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 3:43 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at his home. He was born February 6, 1963, in Elgin, Illinois, the son of Charles Madison and Gloria (McAdams) DeLaSalle, Jr.

Charles was a 1981 graduate of Ouachita High School in Monroe, Louisiana. He was the Library Media Specialist for the Mt. Vernon Intermediate School.

On July 18, 1992, he married Kassie Kennedy, in Toledo, Ohio.

Charles is survived by his wife of 26 years Kassie; one son, Jacob DeLaSalle of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter, Jordan DeLaSalle of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Tamra Padgett of Copperas Cove, Texas and his mother, Gloria DeLaSalle of Copperas Cove, Texas.

His father, Charles and sister, Cathy Renee DeLaSalle, preceded him in death.

A celebration of Charles’ life will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at the Marc in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Charles M. DeLaSalle Scholarship Fund in care of Simmons Bank in Mt. Vernon.
