Obituary for Marvin M. Hochstetler

Marvin M. Hochstetler, age 62, of Verona, Missouri, passed away at 4:49 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018, at his home. He was born March 19, 1956, in Medford, Wisconsin, the son of Melvin and Rachel (Mast) Hochstetler.

Marvin was married to his wife, Elizabeth Yoder, for 40 years, 5 months and 16 days.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; eight sons, Sonny (Mary Esther Lambright) Hochstetler, Fred (Rachel Bontrager) Hochstetler, Irvin (Edna Stutzman) Hochstetler, Perry (Ruth Yoder) Hochstetler, Edward (Lena Yoder) Hochstetler, Bud (Neil) (Cathy Eicher) Hochstetler, Jerry and David Hochstetler; six daughters, Frieda (Amos) Hochstetler, Ruth (Delbert) Bontrager, Rosemary (Laverne) Bontrager, Alta (Ervin) Miller, Ruby (Jerry) Yoder, Lorene (Norman) Bontrager; 38 grandchildren, his parents, Melvin and Rachel and two brothers and four sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at the home of Olen Miller in Verona, Missouri. Burial will follow at the Verona Amish Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.

We would like to thank you all for helping us through our time of grief, and all are welcome to join us for lunch here at the funeral.
