Obituary for Clara Margaret Herr

Clara Margaret Herr, age 93, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at the Ozarks Methodist Manor in Marionville, Missouri. She was born July 10, 1924, in Appleton City, Missouri, the daughter of Louis and Kathryn (Grannemann) Harms.

Clara was a 1942 graduate of Appleton City High School in Appleton City, Missouri and was a homemaker and a member of the Aurora Fundamental Methodist Church.

On May 17, 1947, she married Frank Allen Herr in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2015.

Clara is survived by her three sons, Larry Herr and his wife, Joan, of Omaha, Nebraska, Jim Herr of Aurora, Missouri and Hal Herr and his wife, Linda, of Aurora, Colorado; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, Louis and Kathryn, husband, Frank, two brothers, Ervin and Lawrence Harms, and two sisters, Opal Catlow and Loretta Kueck, preceded her in death.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora. A private family burial will follow at the Maple Park Cemetery.
